The Goiana Infrastructure and Transport Agency (Goinfra) achieved 40% completion of the GO-010 duplication works, between Goiânia and Senador Canedo. Technical teams carry out earthmoving and paving services simultaneously on the 10.22 kilometer stretch.
Subsequently, the highway will receive surface drainage elements, such as curbs and channels, as well as definitive signage for the work. The construction of the bridge over the Bonsucesso Stream has already been completed.

The highway is an important link between the capital, the Metropolitan region and municipalities in the railway region. According to the municipality’s president, Santos Filho, the new asphalt will withstand the stress of the intense traffic of heavy and passenger vehicles that travel through the area daily.
“Around 6 thousand vehicles travel along GO-010 every day. The highway is an important route for transporting agro-industrial production in connection with the capital. The duplication will benefit residents of neighboring cities, workers and students with more comfort, faster traffic and road safety”, reinforces Santos Filho.
