The Government of Sergipe, alongside the other states in the Northeast, announced the sending of efforts for humanitarian aid in Rio Grande do Sul. Brigades and personal protective equipment will be sent. The announcement of support was made by Consortium Nordeste.

The governor of Sergipe, Fábio Mitidieri, confirmed the information through social media. “Together with the other states of the Northeast Consortium, we are mobilizing efforts to face the disasters caused by the heavy rains that are ravaging Rio Grande do Sul.”

“We will send a rescue team, vehicles, inflatable boats and boats. By uniting our solidarity and task force, we will be able, as soon as possible, to restore public services and reduce the suffering of our brothers from Rio Grande do Sul”, he added.
