According to investigations, she and her husband, Carlos Eduardo de Souza Mosso, carried out a type of itinerant fraud and offered false negotiations for auction vehicles to the victims.

At the time, the couple rented a house for the season and stayed in a certain city for a certain period of time. Given the opportunity, Carlos approached potential victims, gained their trust, and then carried out scams involving false negotiations for auction vehicles. After receiving payment from the victims, the two stole the goods that were in the rented property and disappeared, moving to another city, where they stayed to repeat the same scams.

Izabella is charged with theft due to breach of trust and the recruitment of agents, following the theft of property from a seasonal rental property in the Fonseca neighborhood, in Niterói. From there, they went to the cities of Petrópolis, Itaboraí, Guapimirim, Campos dos Goytacazes and Maricá, where they acted in the same way.

With more than a hundred criminal notes on his record, Carlos was arrested on March 15 of this year, in Maricá. Izabella, who has 28 criminal records, was taken to the police station and sent to prison.
