Between the 6th and 10th of May, the Bazaar and Thrift Store of the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer (AACC/MS) promote a season of discounts for Mother’s Day. All items, such as clothes, shoes, bags, decoration items, jewelry, accessories and many others will have a 20% discount.
The pieces have different prices, well below market prices and are items of detachment, in excellent condition. Many of them are new, still in their packaging and there are a large number of items from famous brands and designer brands.
In addition to saving, those who buy products at the AACC/MS fixed bazaar and thrift store help in the fight against childhood cancer, since the association takes care of children and teenagers coming from all the cities of Mato Grosso do Sul and even from the border to carry out treatment against the disease in Campo Grande. They are welcomed at the institution’s Support House, where they stay and receive five meals a day, hygiene items and also follow-up with a nutritionist and psychologist, educational activities and others. In addition, the house has expenses for maintaining the place such as water, electricity, fuel, telephone, food, cleaning materials and personal hygiene, and also covers exams and medicines not provided by the SUS. Monthly expenses are around R$315 thousand per month.
It is worth mentioning that to shop at AACC/MS it is not necessary to wait for the special markets held by the institution. The Bazaar and Thrift Store are permanent and open continuously, from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 11 am and from 12 pm to 5 pm. You can find a variety of products there, such as clothes, accessories, shoes, toys, electronics, books and much more.
