A dog and seven puppies were rescued after being buried, this Friday (3), in a ravine that gave way in Extrema (MG).

According to the Fire Department, the animals were between a wall and an embankment in the Pedrosos neighborhood.

Firefighters reported that one of the residents went to feed the dogs in the early afternoon and saw that the ravine had given way, burying the animals. To carry out the rescue, the military had to break part of the wall.

After being removed from the scene without injuries, the animals were returned to the owner of the house where the accident occurred.

In addition to the dogs, a fox was also rescued in the South of Minas. The animal had been found on Thursday (2) on top of a wood stove in a house in Jardim Redentor, in Pouso Alegre.

After being called, the firefighters managed to rescue him and, after guidance from veterinarians from a private college, the fox was returned to the wild.
