A special load, transported in three sets with exceptional measurements, with maximum dimensions of 30m x 6.40m x 6.85m, alters traffic along the stretch of BR-364/163, between Jaciara (km 267) and Rondonópolis (km 201, in Trevão). The highway concessionaire informed today that there will be interventions in the flow of vehicles until next Sunday (05) and the route is being carried out with an escort from the transport company and the Federal Highway Police.
Among the measures to be adopted to pass the load, which is excessive in height, are the removal of the upper part of gantries that support the road signage at km 243 (Juscimeira), km 262 (Juscimeira and km 267 (Jaciara). In these locations, traffic will be closed for around 30 minutes to remove the structure and allow the vehicle to pass through.
In Jaciara, at km 271 of BR-163/364, on the pedestrian walkway, the transport and cargo train will pass through the city, along Guayanazes Street, in the stretch sufficient to bypass the structure that cannot be removed.
At the Rondonópolis toll plaza, there will be no need for physical intervention, however the load will travel in the opposite direction from km 215 and there will be a lane closure until the train passes. At the Toll plaza, the speed will be greatly reduced.
At km 211 of BR-364, at the PRF station, the vehicle and cargo will travel in the opposite direction, bypassing the roof in front of the building. Another counterflow point is planned at km 204 of BR-364, at the access junction to Rondonópolis, where the passage will be made one section on the opposite road and another on an unpaved access, accessing the marginal road to BR-364 (Avenida Ítrio Corrêa da Costa) also in the contraflow.
Between kilometers 202 and 203 of BR-364, where there is a viaduct and a pedestrian walkway, the train will travel in the opposite lane of the highway and along the side road, requiring the removal of two signage and advertising signs. The route on the section under concession of BR-163/364 ends in Trevão, where the driver continues with the load towards Goiás until reaching the destination in Itapaci (GO).
