Mayoral competition in Bahia closes registration on Sunday for 108 vacancies

The deadline for registrations in the public competition of Barrocas City Hall, in Bahia, is ending. The competition aims to fill several vacancies in the city hall’s permanent staff.

The notice is organized and executed by the Assege Institute of Administration and Education of Bahia, and aims to occupy positions in various professional categories. In the same city, the City Council also has a public tender open until the 10th, under the responsibility of the same panel.

The city hall competition offers positions at incomplete elementary, complete elementary, secondary, intermediate/technical and higher levels, with salaries ranging from R$1,412.00 to R$10,900.00, and working hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours weekly.

There are a total of 108 immediate vacancies available, in addition to reservation registration, distributed as follows:

The notice provides for the reservation of 5% of vacancies for people with disabilities (PwD) and 20% for Afro-descendant and indigenous candidates.

Registrations

Registration will close next Sunday, May 5th, exclusively on the Instituto Assege website.

The registration fee is R$55.00 for primary education positions, R$65 for secondary education, and R$95.00 for higher education positions. The deadline to request payment exemption has passed.

Selection

Candidates will be selected through an objective test, scheduled to take place on May 26th, the specific details of which, such as date and location, will be announced later.

The test will consist of multiple choice questions covering Portuguese Language, Mathematics, General Knowledge, IT and Specific Knowledge, depending on the level of education of the position.

The competition will be valid for two years, counting from the approval of the final result, and may be extended for an equal period, at the discretion of the municipal administration of Barrocas.

Baroque

Barrocas is a municipality of 15.2 thousand inhabitants, according to the 2022 Demographic Census from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The city is located in the Serrinha Region and is approximately 200 kilometers from Salvador.
