Labor Day will be celebrated this Wednesday, May 1st. In Rio Branco, some establishments will not open and others will open at different times. To organize yourself, know what will open and close in the capital.

Check out what opens and closes:

State bodies close on Wednesday (1st) and resume activities on Thursday (2nd).

Only essential services remain operating normally, such as the Emergency Care Units (UPA), the Urgency and Emergency Hospital (Huerb) and the Integrated Public Security Operations Center (Ciosp).

The Acre Traffic Department (Detran-AC) and the Service Center Organization (OCA) will close on Wednesday (1st) and only return on Thursday (2nd).

The Acre Bank Workers Union (Seeb-AC) reported that as it is a national holiday, bank branches close on Wednesday (1st) and services return on Thursday (2nd).

Via Verde Shopping will open on Wednesday (1st), but at reduced hours. The food court is open from 11am to 9pm and the stores and kiosks are open from 1pm to 9pm.

Next Wednesday (1st), there will also be no operation at post offices. Activities resume on the following business day, Thursday (2). During the holiday, the Customer Service Center will only be available through automated channels:

Self-service – 0800-725-7282, 0800-725-0100 and 3003-0100.

These channels operate 24/7. Service with operators will resume on the next business day after the holiday, from 8 am.

According to the Commercial, Industrial, Service and Agricultural Association of Acre (Acisa), as it is a national holiday, on this (1st), only essential services will be open, such as: gas stations, supermarkets, pharmacies and drugstores. The rest of the stores and businesses will reopen on Thursday (2).
