ES Government – ICEPi launches notice for selection of doctors for Mimoso do Sul and Muqui

The Department of Health (Sesa), through the Capixaba Institute of Education, Research and Innovation in Health (ICEPi), opened a simplified selection process for the training of doctors in the State Qualification Program for Primary Health Care (Qualifica-APS). There are two highly competitive vacancies for Mimoso do Sul and one for Muqui, municipalities in the south of the State, in addition to reserve registration for black or indigenous people.

These municipalities suffered from heavy rains at the end of March. Since then, a task force was created to reorganize and strengthen the local Health Care Network, made up of the Municipal Health Departments, technicians from Sesa, the Southern Regional Health Superintendence and professionals from ICEPi.

Registration can be made until next Sunday (05), via the Institute’s website at the link https://icepi.es.gov.br/editais/abertos

The vacancies are intended for Training by the Professional Supply and Attachment Component, which is part of Qualifica-APS, for training in the area of ​​Family Health/Primary Health Care (PHC). The value of the scholarships is R$15,000 and the course lasts four years.

Qualifies-APS

Qualifica-APS aims to promote cooperation between the State and municipalities for the training of professionals in Primary Care.

The major differences of the program are the use of innovative teaching methodologies, the encouragement of research initiatives applied to the Unified Health System (SUS) and the reduction of the shortage of professionals in regions where it is difficult to settle, increasing the supply of health professionals in the largest number of municipalities.
