Paraíba gained another law that supports students in the state. Law 13,182/24 guarantees a free pass on state concession transport during the days when the National High School Exam (ENEM) is held. The initiative is from Congressman Wilson Filho and aims to facilitate access to testing locations.

According to the new legislation, students enrolled in Enem can use intercity buses, trains, subways and ferries in the State of Paraíba free of charge, on the days when the tests take place.

To take advantage of the benefit, students must present the registration confirmation card along with an official document with photo.

The costs associated with the implementation of this law will be covered by budget allocations allocated to the Fund for Combating and Eradicating Poverty in the State of Paraíba (FUNCEP), created by Law No. 7,611/2004. The state government may, if necessary, supplement these resources to ensure full coverage of the benefit.
