In Group A, in addition to the host team, Constelação also faces São João do Jaguaribe-CE, Nova Geração-DF and Traipu-AL. Group B is formed by AES/Tamandaré-PE, Sampaio Araiosense-MA, Sercesa-RS, LEC/Operário AC-MS and Tabocão-TO.

The Taça Brasil is played in two phases. In the first, which is qualifying, the teams face each other within the brackets. The two best advance to the semi-finals, where the clashes take place in a crossover format (1ºA x 2ºB and 1ºB x 2ºA) and the winners go to the big decision.

For fans from Roraima who want to follow Constelação’s participation in the national competition, all games will be broadcast live and with images on the CBFS TV channel, on YouTube.

To compete in the Taça Brasil, it was necessary to take a break in the finals of the Taça Roraima, in which Contecção is a finalist alongside Vivaz this year. Played in up to three games, due to the two 2-2 draws in the first two matches, a third game will be necessary, which should only take place when Team das Estrelas returns from Pernambuco.

Multi-champion coach Olano Matos leads the team at the start of the season, after having spent time off the court for health reasons last year. According to him, Constelação seeks, above all, to remain in the first division of the Taça Brasil.

– Our main objective is to remain in the first division, as I know it will be a competition with a high technical level, where we will have to overcome ourselves game by game to achieve our goals. I know our opponents, they all have a lot of quality.

Oleno also revealed to the ge which should take a break again after returning to national competition and the end of the Roraima Cup.
