A lawyer identified as Caio Roberto Ferreira de Vasconcelos, aged 35, died this Saturday morning (27) after the car he was in overturned in the rural area of Boa Vista.
The accident happened at the first fork in the Água Boa road, around 5:40 am. The circumstances of the accident were not disclosed.
When the Military Police arrived at the scene, the victim was still inside the overturned vehicle and no longer had vital signs. Civil Police Forensics was called and carried out expert investigations into the case.
Caio Roberto was a sectional counselor at the Brazilian Bar Association in Roraima (OAB-RR). In a note published on social media, the Order highlighted his work as a lawyer and expressed solidarity with his family and friends.
“Sectional Counselor, Dr. Caio Vasconcelos leaves a legacy of work, friendship, commitment and dedication to law. In this moment of resignation, we express our feeling of solidarity and support to Roraima’s Law Firm, to the bereaved family and friends, praying to God to give the necessary comfort”, he highlighted.
The victim’s body was removed from the accident site by the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML). The car Caio was in was removed and taken to the Roraima State Traffic Department (Detran-RR) yard.
The objects found inside the vehicle were seized and delivered to the Flagrantes Center. The case was registered at the same police unit.
