With support from the Government of Amazonas, Luso Neto sings Cazuza in a show at Teatro Gebes Medeiros

With support from the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, Amazonian singer and composer Luso Neto will present the show Cazuza “No Osso”, this Sunday, at 7pm, at Teatro Gebes Medeiros. The show aims to bring the fullness of the poet’s feelings to the public, in acoustic format, “No Osso”.

Cazuza “No Osso” is an unusual show, created by Luso Neto and which reissues a format designed for theaters in São Paulo, in 2012. The proposal is to value poetry, the original feeling of Cazuza’s compositions in the singer’s unique interpretation, at the same time sound of Fernando Mangabeira’s guitar.

“On April 4th, Cazuza would have turned 66 years old and I thought about reissuing this show, bringing to Manaus what gave me expression in one of the most creative times in São Paulo. Without the noise of the guitars, just poetry sung, to the core! Coming from the soul, like everything I do and like the master did too”, declares Luso Neto.

Cazuza is one of the greatest artists of his time. His poetry visited minds and created stories, rocking the 80s and 90s with incredible lyrics that make sense and are successful to this day.

Luso Neto states that he identifies with the irreverent figure of Cazuza, whom he calls his master, and regards him as “someone who expresses himself through his attitudes and poetry, through his enormous desire to live and create”. With the irreverence, already well known to the Amazonian public, Luso Neto proposes to show Cazuza’s poetry with this vision, extracting the poetic juice of the master’s greatest hits, in his interpretation.

Presenting for the first time in Manaus, Cazuza “No Osso”, is an intimate show, which will be held in an intimate theater, which allows exchange between the performer and the audience, combining the voice with poetry and the guitar strings.
