Dengue vaccines arrive in Sergipe

-

The Ministry of Health announced this Thursday (25) that Sergipe is among the states offered the dengue vaccine. Immunization will be expanded to 625 municipalities in six Brazilian states. In Sergipe, the cities of Aracaju, São Cristóvão, Barra dos Coqueiros, Laranjeiras, Itaporanga D’Ajuda, Riachuelo, Santa Rosa de Lima and Divina Pastora will benefit. The distribution of doses is scheduled to begin this Friday (26).

According to data from the Ministry of Health, a total of 1,682,139 doses of the vaccine have already been distributed to the states and the Federal District since the start of the vaccination campaign. Of the total number of doses, 810,686 have been administered to date, while 700,488 doses have not yet been registered. This last group may indicate doses that have not yet been administered or that have not been registered in the system due to possible delays on the part of municipalities.
