O Government of Pernambuco launched, this Wednesday (24), the program “Youth Qualification Day“, providing 10 thousand places in 15 free online courses for the public of 14 to 29 years old.
The trainings dialogue with the current trends and demands of the job market and cover four thematic lines: self-knowledge, technology, digital marketing and entrepreneurship.
“These courses are important for the preparation and development of skills that, previously, did not receive as much attention as interpersonal and emotional skills. With these courses, our young people will have the opportunity to develop skills from an early age and thus be more competitive in the market”, declared vice-governor Priscila Krause.
The initiative by the Secretariat for Professional Development and Entrepreneurship (Sedepe) was launched in the auditorium of the Faculty of Administration Sciences of Pernambuco (FCAP-UPE), in Recife.
Registration is now open at Sedepe website. Trainings are offered permanently, at any time. The content will be taught online, through the partner organization’s platform, Junior Achievement (JA Brasil).
“Transformations in the professional environment are increasingly rapid, opening up a universe of possibilities, but also of demands. It is essential that we prepare young people from Pernambuco to be able to embrace opportunities, put their skills into practice and generate income”, stated the state secretary of Professional Development and Entrepreneurship, Amanda Aires.
Among the options, there are courses of up to 800 class hours. To participate, interested parties must click on the “qualification courses” at the registration website and fill in the personal data. At the end of the training, students will receive a certificate.
