A 58-year-old man was arrested by the Federal Highway Police (PRF), last Wednesday (April 24), after sexually harassing a passenger who was sitting next to him on the trip. The arrest took place in the city of Bom Despacho, in the Central-West region of Minas Gerais.

According to the corporation, the crime was discovered after the driver stopped the collective at the PRF yard. At this moment, a 30-year-old woman got off the bus and declared that the passenger next to her had “passed his hand on her private parts”.

Following the complaint, the suspect was removed from the vehicle and initially denied that he had committed the crime. However, according to the police, he then assumed that he put his hand on the victim’s leg.

Arrested in the act, the man and the victim ended up taken to the Bom Despacho police station.
