PMCE captures fugitive from justice and seizes firearms and ammunition in Itarema

An action by the Shock Policing Command (CPCHOQUE) of the Ceará Military Police (PMCE) resulted in the capture of three suspects, one of them with an open arrest warrant for the crime of homicide, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (24), in region of Patos, in Itarema. During the offensive, the military police seized two cal revolvers. 38, a cal pistol. 9mm, 70 rounds of ammunition and R$340.00 in cash.

The incident began after the police received information that an armed man was threatening the population in that region. Immediately, the agents went out to investigate. During the search, the team was informed that the suspect had committed suicide in a bush. On that occasion, the composition went on an incursion together with the PMs from the Itarema detachment, when a hiding place was spotted, where ammunition was located. Nearby, three suspects were approached. With them, the rest of the aforementioned material was seized.

Two 20-year-old men and a 23-year-old man were arrested, the latter fleeing from justice for the crime of murder. They were all taken to the Itapipoca Regional Police Station, where the outstanding arrest warrant was served and a police investigation into illegal possession of a firearm was opened to the detriment of the individuals.
