The model of the new executive jet ordered by billionaire Elon Musk will soon make its first visit to Brazil.
The G700 is the latest launch and the largest executive jet ever manufactured by the American Gulfstream, to be the success of the famous G650ER. And following this line, Elon Musk has already ordered his model, which was recently certified and began shipping this week.
Valued at more than US$80 million, the G700 has already set more than 50 city-pair speed records before entering service and can fly 7,750 nautical miles (14,353 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm (12,316 km) at Mach 0.90. The G700’s maximum operating speed is Mach 0.935, the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet.
The Catarina Aviation Show, a meeting of executive aviation and high-end experiences, will receive the G700 in Brazil for the first time, in addition to its competitor Bombardier Global 7500.
The third edition of the event will be held in June. Other aircraft manufacturers also confirmed their presence, including Embraer, Leonardo, Airbus Helicopters/Helibrás, Cirrus, EVE, Pilatus and Aeromot.
The meeting – organized by NürnbergMesse Brasil and JHSF, and presented by Bradesco Global Private Bank – will bring together brands from other segments with experiences and products for the high-income public, such as BMW, McLaren, Aston Martin, Intermarine, Junkers, Fasano and Pernod Ricard . The Catarina Aviation Show is an exclusive event for guests, held at the São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport, located just over 30 minutes from the capital of São Paulo.
