Alejandra is a lawyer and journalist, resident of the city of La Plata. She was a newcomer to the regional competition, the first time the competition took place without an age limit.
“I had never signed up. Now this opportunity arose and it seemed like a challenge, a very interesting proposal”, he told the TN channel last Tuesday. “Beauty is not just physical. It has to do with attitude towards life, which goes beyond aesthetics. Therefore, I think the contest came to break these stereotypes, and that is what is giving it so much visibility.”
“It was a very thoughtful decision,” she said. “But thanks to the director of Miss Universe Buenos Aires, I decided to sign up at age 60.”
