Bahian actor Wagner Moura taught the presenters of the North American program “The Talk” how to samba. In a video published on the talk show’s social networks on Wednesday (24), the artist appears showing how to dance in Bahia.

“Wagner Moura showing his samba skills”, wrote the talk show profile when publishing the moment on social media.
The joke took place during an interview about the film “Civil War”, in which Wagner plays journalist Joel. The film is on the cards in Brazil and the United States, and has performed well at the box office.

During the interview, Wagner took out a matchbox and showed the beat of Brazilian samba, as is done in the Roots Circles. Afterwards, he stood up together with the presenters and tried to explain the difference between the rhythm in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro.

“That’s how we samba in my city, Salvador. In Rio things are bigger, but in Salvador it’s ‘small’”, she explained.
The audience watching the program in the studio applauded the actor’s dance moves. On social media, Wagner was also praised by the public: “this man is a historical asset of Brazil”, wrote a fan.
