Luzimangues now has all services for workers and employers, free of charge and efficiently. The governor of Tocantins, Wanderlei Barbosa, inaugurated this Thursday, 25th, a unit of the National Employment System (Sine) in the district of Porto Nacional. The new unit is managed by the State Secretariat for Labor and Social Development (Setas).

Sine de Luzimangues will provide residents of the District with all the services offered by the system, in addition to providing convenience and practicality and avoiding commuting from the community for services. The governor highlighted the strategic importance of the new Sine unit for the region’s community. “We are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for our citizens, and this inauguration reflects this commitment. Here we are offering Sine services, which will facilitate access to employment and will also strengthen the local economy”, stated Barbosa.

The new Sine unit is located at Residencial Jardim do Porto, lots 9 and 10, block 5, and offers a wide range of services for both workers and employers. The unit will offer training courses and the project Employ Sinewhich aims to integrate local workers into the job market, in addition to issuing a digital work card and guidance on unemployment insurance, among other services.

Setas Secretary, Jonis Calaça, also emphasized the Tocantins Government’s commitment to promoting social and economic development through the initiative. “Sine is a very important tool in generating employment and income. We are ensuring that more people have access to job opportunities and services that boost their careers”, declared the secretary.

Residents of the district for five years, Luiz Alberto Pereira and his wife Francinete Bernardo are excited about the structure of Sine de Luzimangues. The couple, who lived in Goianorte, when moving to the Porto Nacional district, had to look for services in Palmas that, previously, did not exist there. “I think that Sine here is of great value, as we are next to the capital and whenever we needed any service from the system, we had to cross the bridge to seek assistance. Now this will no longer be necessary, this unit in our district will help the community a lot, especially our young people”, commented Luiz Alberto.

Governor Wanderlei Barbosa was accompanied by federal deputies, his government team, the local community and other authorities at the inauguration event.
