Friend of Pedrinho, Cruzeiro singer Tieta Messi in the USA < In Attack

A personal friend of Pedro Lourenço, new owner of Cruzeiro’s Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF), Gusttavo Lima met with a global sports idol on a trip to the United States. This Sunday (5/5), the singer from Cruzeiro published a photo alongside Messi, who plays for Inter Miami.

Gusttavo Lima recorded the moment on social media. The Brazilian artist was accompanied by his sons Gabriel, six years old, and Samuel, five years old. Everyone was uniformed with the North American team’s shirt.

“What an honor… Leo Messi, such an idol!”, wrote Gusttavo.

The meeting took place shortly after Inter Miami’s 6-2 defeat of York Red Bulls, at Lockhart Stadium, in Florida, last Saturday (4/5), in the 11th round of Major League Soccer.

Messi was the highlight of the match. The midfielder scored a goal and contributed five assists, three to Luis Suárez, ex-Grêmio, and two to Matías Rojas, ex-Corinthians.

Gusttavo Lima owns a football team

Gusttavo Lima has a wide relationship with football. In February of this year, he became the majority partner of SAF do Paranavaí, a team from the interior of Paraná that competes in the state’s Second Division.

The artist bought 60% of the club’s shares. Of the remaining 40%, 39% belongs to Full Sports and other investors, while 1% belongs to the Atlético Clube Paranavaí association. 100% of SAF was sold for R$3 million.

The countryman is an avowed Cruzeiro fan. He was born in Presidente Olegário, which is in Alto Paranaíba, in the interior of Minas Gerais, a region where the celestial club has a large fan base.

Furthermore, Gusttavo has a great friendship with Pedrinho, one of the most influential businessmen in Cruzeiro and who bought SAF da Raposa from Ronaldo Nazário last week.
