Michelle Bolsonaro postpones PL Mulher events in Sergipe after flu diagnosis

Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) postponed PL Mulher events, in Aracaju, capital of Sergipe, which were scheduled for this week, on medical advice. The wife of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) published a photo in the hospital this Wednesday, 24, after being admitted for contracting the Influenza A virus, which causes the flu.

On her Instagram profile, Michelle shared a photo of her eldest daughter, Letícia Firmo, with the caption: “My companion”. This Thursday, the 25th, at home, the former first lady recorded a moment of rest next to her pets.

In a note, the national PL Mulher reported that, on Wednesday night, Michelle “needed medical care as she was feeling unwell and in a lot of pain.” After examinations and confirmation of the flu, the doctor recommended isolation and rest for seven days.

Therefore, the events in the capital of Sergipe that would take place this Friday, the 26th, and this Saturday, the 27th, were postponed until the 10th and 11th of May. Also according to the press office, the national president of the female branch of the PL regretted not being able to meet the women of the municipality and thanked them for “their concern and messages of encouragement”.
