South

Maritime infiltration will still keep the weather unstable in most of the region. Over the west of Rio Grande do Sulit rains at any time of the day.

There will be very strong and massive showers, just like in the west of Santa Catarina. In the east of both states, it is mostly sunny, and there is a chance of rain at the end of the day.

Same scenario in southern Paraná. In Curitiba, there have been many clouds since the beginning of the day, with a chance of rain at any time. In the northern half of Paraná it doesn’t rain.

Southeast

Maritime infiltration will help the formation of heavy clouds over the coast of São Paulo, with rain at any time. It doesn’t rain in the interior of São Paulo, the interior of Minas Gerais and the interior of Rio de Janeiro.

The city of Rio de Janeiro may experience temporary rain, nothing significant, just like in the northern half of Espírito Santo.

Midwest

Firm weather throughout Goiás, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso do Sul and in the south of Mato Grosso. The center-north of Mato Grosso should have mostly sunshine throughout Thursday with showers in the late afternoon.

North East

Maritime infiltration helps with the formation of heavy clouds and it rains throughout the east coast at any time of the day. In the interior of Bahia and the northeastern hinterland, the day should be mostly sunny and light rain in the afternoon. Ceará, Piauí and Maranhão with isolated storms caused by the ZCIT.

North

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) still operates over the region. In the north of Pará, Manaus, Roraima and Amapá, it rains at any time. In other areas we can expect rain that alternates periods of improvement. Even when the sun starts to shine, and then it rains again. Temperatures should still be high, a muggy day.
