Packed and heading to the Central-West Swimming Tournament in Mato Grosso do Sul. This is how the athletes from Associação Sorriso de Natação are traveling shortly to compete in the Central-West Winter Club Tournament, in Mato Grosso do Sul. Composed of 13 athletes, the delegation from Sorriso is eager to show their talent during the three days competition, which takes place between April 25th and 27th.
Organized by the Water Sports Federation of Mato Grosso do Sul (FEDAMS), with the endorsement of the Brazilian Water Sports Confederation (CBDA), the tournament will bring together more than 500 athletes from different categories, ranging from Children to Seniors.
The Centro-Oeste Tournament, after the Brazilian championships, is the most important competition in swimming. The competition serves as a warm-up for the Brazilian Category Championships, which will be held in Salvador and Recife, where the best swimming athletes in Brazil will meet.
Asnat athletes have the support of the City Hall, through the Department of Sports and Leisure (Semel).
“This is a tournament that promises a lot of emotions. We are happy to be able to provide these opportunities for our athletes who are performing well in several championships, and a large part of the Municipal Administration supports us in all these events”, highlights the president of Associação Sorriso de Natação, Jéssika Dal Pozzo.
