Ceturb-ES will launch inclusion campaign in public transport

-

With the slogan “Be Educated. Thank you very much”, Ceturb/ES is putting its biggest institutional campaign ever carried out on the streets, in an action involving different communication formats, with a focus on guaranteeing the rights of people with visible and non-visible disabilities.

The action marks a new moment of understanding about visibility and understanding about the most diverse existing deficiencies, in addition to a new positioning of the Company in relation to the topic, with greater emphasis on the rights of PWDs in public transport and improving the service offered to them .

The topic is of enormous importance as we see that the state of Espírito Santo is the second in the Southeast region with the highest number of people with disabilities, proportionally to the size of the population. The National Household Sample Survey (Pnad 2022) showed that the percentage reaches 8.6%, behind only Minas Gerais (8.9%).

The daily receipt of complaints on Ceturb-ES service channels regarding neglect towards people with disabilities on public transport was also taken into account when carrying out the action. Cases aggravated in the context of non-visible disabilities, due to difficult identification.

LAUNCH

The launch takes place at two different times. On Friday (26), in the auditorium of Palácio da Fonte Grande, in the center of Vitória (ES), at 9am and 2pm. Then, on Monday (29), at Salão São Tiago, at Palácio Anchieta, also in the Center of Vitória, at 10am.

THE DISCLOSURE

The campaign pieces have brought a strong tone of combating prejudice and lack of sensitivity towards the needs of people with visible and non-visible disabilities.

A specific song for the campaign was created to convey the message in every way. It was composed by two musicians from Espírito Santo, linked to Rap, Emy Alves and Quixote, who also have physical disabilities and are closely linked to causes.

After the official launch, the campaign pieces will begin to be published on the Ceturb/ES website and social media. To this end, an Instagram profile was created for publicity. Follow us at @sejaeducado.es.

The arts will also appear on the back of several buses (busdoor), dozens of billboards spread throughout the cities of Greater Vitória, posters and actions at the Integration Terminals and inside the buses, in addition to publicity actions in schools, in order to give greater visibility to the campaign.
