Police arrest suspect of killing psychologist in the interior of RN in Natal | large northern river

A Civil Police of Rio Grande do Norte confirmed that he was arrested in Christmas the man suspected of killing psychologist Fabiana Maia Veras, aged 42, on Tuesday afternoon (23), in Assu, in the west of Rio Grande do Norte.

The arrest took place in the Nova Descoberta neighborhood, in the South Zone of Natal, when he arrived at one of his properties. The main line of investigation into the motivation for the homicide, according to the Civil Police, points to a crime of passion.

Fabiana Veras was found dead inside the house where she lived and where she also provided services in Assu, in the west of Rio Grande do Norte, on Tuesday night (23), around 6pm.

According to the police, the body was gagged and had marks of stab wounds. The police are investigating the case as a homicide.

The video showed the hooded man, wearing a mask, prescription glasses and gloves, and holding a bag. He was met by the victim at around 4:40 pm, at the gate of the house. The victim spoke to him normally, as if she already knew him, and started showing him rooms in the property.

According to Civil Police investigations, the man and woman then entered the suite of the house, where the crime took place. The victim was gagged and found with cuts on his hands and other parts of his body.

According to the police, the man left the room, went to the kitchen and washed, removing a lot of blood. The perpetrator then went to the door to wait for a black car, which took him from the scene.

The vehicle, however, took several minutes, and while waiting, the man went back into the house and took the bag with which he entered the property and which possibly contained the weapon used in the crime.

According to police, the man also took the victim’s cell phone, possibly to make investigations more difficult. The victim had weapons, but the weapons were not stolen.
