Amazonas Shopping is holding, until Friday (26), a special program alluding to the Abril Azul campaign, with a bazaar and offering services aimed at people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The program takes place from 10am to 10pm, on the first floor, close to the Food Court.
The institutions Lar das Vitória, Amigo Anjo, Casa Azul, Associação Amigos do Autista (AMA) and Instituto Autismo no Amazonas (IAAM) are holding a bazaar with a variety of items. All the money raised will go towards maintaining the activities of these entities.
In addition to the bazaar, the event will also feature a series of services. The public will be able to update or complete the Single Registry (CadÚnico), which entitles them to a series of benefits, and request, at the Municipal Institute of Urban Mobility (IMMU) stand, accreditation to access the free pass for public transport.
To update the Single Registry, 20 forms will be made available daily for assistance. And for accreditation and issuing a free pass, there will be 60 tokens per day.
Also part of the program is the holding of fun workshops with Instituto Supera and an artistic space for people with autism to work on different skills.
Movie theater
Still as part of the Abril Azul campaign, the Kinoplex cinema at Amazonas Shopping will hold, on Saturday (27), at 11am, a session adapted for people on the autistic spectrum. The cinema room is fully adapted to meet the needs of the public, with partial lighting and low sound volume. In this session the film “A Lucky Cat” will be shown.
