Two motorcycles caught fire after a head-on collision at Ramal Benfica, in the Second District of Rio Branco, in the early afternoon of this Tuesday (23), and four people were injured in the accident. According to the Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran) of the capital of Acre, one of the motorcycles was traveling along the branch line when it collided with the one coming in the opposite lane, towards Via Verde.
The drivers of each vehicle were men aged 43 and 56, and were carrying two women, aged 42 and 48. The Fire Department and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) were called and the injured were taken to the emergency room (PS) with burns and abrasions. One of the passengers also suffered head trauma.

BPTran does not disclose the names of those involved, but a family member of two injured informed the g1 Although Jonas Ricardo da Silva, aged 56, and Milka da Silva dos Santos, who are husband and wife, were hospitalized until this Wednesday morning (24), Silva, however, has already been discharged. The condition of the other injured was not disclosed.
