From April 29th to May 3rd, registration will be open for the “Nasce uma Família” adoption preparation course, one of the necessary steps for those who intend to apply for the adoption process. In total, there will be eight classes with 40 participants each, totaling 320 places. Registration can be done via the link https://sejud.tjms.jus.br/secretaria/inscricao.
Carried out by the Court of Justice, under the management of Des. Sérgio Fernandes Martins, through the Judicial School (Ejud-MS), with Des. Odemilson Roberto Castro Fassa as general director, in partnership with the Childhood and Youth Coordination (CIJ), under the responsibility of Desa. Elizabete Anache, the course will be taught from May 6th to July 5th, with a workload of 40 class hours, 37 hours of asynchronous activities and 3 synchronous class hours.
Participants who have 100% participation and complete the evaluation activities will receive a certificate to qualify for adoption. Each class will have a judge, a psychologist and a social worker to answer any questions. It should be noted that the distance learning course meets an old desire of magistrates responsible for the area of childhood and youth in all districts of MS, as it meets an essential requirement for adoption applicants.
Thus, the objective of the course is to enable adoption applicants to exercise responsible fatherhood or motherhood, in light of the requirements and principles of the Child and Adolescent Statute. In this way, the course results in a relevant action in favor of the fight against abandonment and the placement of children and adolescents in a family.
To participate in the course, applicants must be domiciled in Mato Grosso do Sul, have an active and regular personal email, a computer with a Windows 8 operating system or higher; internet browser, PDF reader program or application and multimedia system (speakers or headphones), in addition to the commitment to complete the course respecting the deadlines for assessment activities.
