With more than 100 brands on display and 80 boats, 60 of which are in the water, the Rio Boat Show 2024, the largest outdoor nautical fair in Latin America, will take place from April 28th to May 5th, at Marina da Glória, in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, a wide range of boats, for different tastes and budgets, ranging from small speedboats to luxurious three-deck yachts. This year’s event is expected to generate more than R$240 million in business and attract an audience of more than 33 thousand people.

Among the highlights of this edition is the launch of the NX44 Pininfarina, a model from Brazilian manufacturer NX Boats made in partnership with the Italian design brand, and the long-awaited “walk around” style boat, which combines sportiness with sophistication, the Schaefer V44, from the national shipyard Schaefer Yachts, which will make its first global appearance.

The Azimut 74, from the Italian Azimut Yachts with factory in Brazil, will impress with its size equivalent to more than 250 m² of area, its luxury and technology, with the extensive use of 100% pure carbon fiber, a material also used in rockets and Formula 1 cars. The Sessa F48 boat will be another highlight, from the Italian manufacturer Sessa Marine, in addition to the Coral 50 Fly, from the Coral manufacturer, and the recently launched V550 Crossover, from the Ventura shipyard. Other attractions will be the luxurious Excess 14 catamaran that will be in Brazilian waters for the first time, the complete house on the water from the manufacturer Solara, and the high quality and performance boats between 40 and 50 feet from Azov Yachts and Real Powerboats.

This emblematic event for the Brazilian nautical sector boosts the tourism industry and not only reflects the latest trends in cutting-edge technology and design, but also reveals innovations in the industry with speedboats and yachts that transform into true mansions on the water,” highlights the general director of Boat Show Eventos, Thalita Vicentini.

Discover some luxury models that will be on display at the Rio Boat Show 2024

The long-awaited V44, from Schaefer Yachts, will make its world debut at the Rio Boat Show. With a design that mixes adventure with sportiness and luxury, it offers a spacious cockpit integrated with a true “beach club” at the rear of the vessel (stern) and, to increase the space, it has side balconies with hydraulic activation and a submersible stern platform. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to four guests overnight, while daytime capacity is 14 guests.

Signed by the Italian brand Pininfarina, the 44-foot model from NX Boats has a bold and elegant design. The NX44’s large windows complement the sophisticated aesthetics, while the cockpit with electric hard-top (a kind of sunroof) allows onboard entertainment for up to 20 people during the day and 4 overnight. The model is valued at R$4.05 million.

The Azimut 74, from the Italian Azimut Yachts, draws attention for its sophisticated and revolutionary design in its more than 250 m² of area divided into three floors. The model, valued at more than R$26.9 million, also impresses with its cutting-edge materials, such as 100% pure carbon fiber, the same material used in Formula 1 cars and rockets, in which the brand is pioneer in the nautical world. The vessel has four spacious cabins and allows eight guests to stay overnight comfortably.

A Sessa F48, from the Italian Sessa Marine, priced from R$7.5 million, has an elegant design and great use of space through architectural solutions, with luxurious interiors and spacious cabins. Its flybridge, the vessel’s third floor, provides panoramic views and outdoor leisure areas. Equipped with advanced navigation systems, it allows for a safe and pleasant experience on the water.

With four bedrooms, three bathrooms and even a cabin for the sailor, the Coral 50 Fly, from Lanchas Coral, surprises with the excellent use and versatility of the internal spaces, as it allows up to 12 people to stay overnight and 14 to enjoy the day on board. The large windows and 2.30 m ceiling height provide greater integration with nature and the entry of natural light. The price of the model is around R$3 million.

The recently launched V550 Crossover, from Ventura, built in Brazil with an Italian design, has a modern design and large leisure areas such as a gourmet space in the rear of the boat, which is expanded through folding sides. The stern, the front part of the vessel, has a solarium with a table and sofa, ideal for enjoying navigation and contact with nature. A glass door facilitates entry into the boat, unifying the external and internal environments. On the lower deck, with great lighting, it offers configurations for two or three suites. The model starts at R$5.99 million.

The Rio Boat Show 2024 will also present new sailboats and catamarans, such as the Excess 14, from the French group Beneteau, which will be exhibited by Aloha Náutica for the first time in Brazil. The vessel, which can be used to sail around the world and is almost 16 meters long, was designed to offer comfort and innovation, both in the owner’s version and in the charter version, which is for rent. The model, which is valued at around R$6.7 million, has a versatile layout, with the possibility of three or four cabins, as well as a design and construction process that guarantee excellent navigability.

Azov Yachts will present the Z480 HT, which has the advantage of being able to sail in shallow waters, up to 70 cm deep. The model has a submersible stern platform, which drops more than 1 meter into the water. With a bold layout, the boat has large windows to make greater use of natural light.

The Real Powerboats shipyard will take its recent launch, the Real 40 Cabriolet, to the event. The boat combines design and sportiness, as well as ample internal space. The open style allows the sailor to pilot with wide visibility of the sea.

For the first time on the water, the floating house from manufacturer Solara will also be highlighted in luxury and innovation at the Rio Boat Show. The Boat House is complete with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, balcony and even a terrace. Furthermore, it can be equipped with solar panels.

Also confirmed at the event are the shipyards Beneteau, Grupo Sailing, Jeanneau Yachts, Master Marine, Mestra, Sealife, Schaefer Yachts, Vivere Xtreme and Zath Mariner.
