The solution that establishes new standards in data security and digital autonomy for Brazilian public institutions is already a reality. Few countries have this capacity and Serpro, the largest state-owned technology company in the world, has been working since the end of last year to offer the Government Cloud with all its features. This eliminates risks associated with international data transfer and ensures full compliance with national regulations.

According to Amorim, this is the ideal solution for agencies that want to focus on their core activity, transferring their IT infrastructure management to the largest government cloud provider. “When creating a virtual data center in the cloud, the customer transfers investment expenses to costing, replacing the total cost of ownership with that of the cloud provider. This means rationalizing expenses, as you no longer need to predict your needs in a fixed way and start paying only for what you use,” he explained.
“The objective is to provide more agile and focused IT management. A health, education or finance organization, for example, does not need to worry about purchasing and managing hardware and software. He can leave this part to Serpro and focus his energy on what he does best, which is public management and serving citizens.
