The City of Patos de Minas promoted this Tuesday (02) the launch of the Municipal Plan for Public Security and Crime Prevention.

With technical support from the State Government, through the Minas Prevention Seal, from the Secretariat of Justice and Public Security of Minas Gerais, the plan provides a diagnosis of security in Patos de Minas and the actions to be developed with the aim of improving security. local.

According to the Secretary of State for Public Security, Rógerio Greco, “The purpose is resocialization, because there is no point in arresting for the sake of arresting, what we want is to rehabilitate the prisoner, so that he can leave the prison system and not commit crimes again.”

The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the 10th Military Police Region, Col. Marisa Cunha Nunes, the Secretary of State for Public Security, Rógerio Greco, the Undersecretary for Crime Prevention and Reserve Colonel, Matuzail Martins da Cruz.
