I think it depends on the strategy. Many talk about the former Flamengo Bandeira who made cheap teams to suffer but pay his debts. However, I see Casares with another strategy:

He wants to pay off his debts with good value for money teams (Lucas, James, 17 million for André and 25 million for Ferraresi) that win titles. We are not full of medallions, we have 5, our biggest salaries are Lucas and James and they alone earn more than 1 million (the possums and At. Minuto have a lot of scavengers earning that).

In the end, the debt is paid at a slower rate, but it is paid and we still earn a little something. I think that when we sell our outstanding boys we will have a bigger boost (Maia, Nestor, Wellington – if he stays -, Diego Costa, Lanza, Moreira…).

I think this is a positive result of this management. When we make mistakes, I think we should speak up, but I don’t think it’s right to say that we are “poor”. A poor team wouldn’t have that many good players. We have a complete squad, we’re just missing a left back.

Only critical is the coach who doesn’t get the boys to play, doesn’t invest in new players and is still only behind Portuguesa and Juventude. Betting on players with the same profile as Erick and Rato is important, but not every player from series B is as good as them, most are series B players hahaha.
