During this month, 71 violent deaths were recorded, 25.2% less than in March 2023, when 95 deaths were recorded.

According to data consolidated by the Coordination of Statistical Information and Criminal Analysis (COINE) of the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (SESED), in the year-to-year comparison between the months of March, the month of March 2024 was the least violent since 2011.
