Woman is attacked with kick during Military Police approach in DF

A woman was attacked during an approach by the Military Police, last Wednesday (27), in Ceilândia, in the Federal District. A security camera recorded the moment (see video above).

The images show, in the corner of the screen, military police officers surrounding a woman lying on the ground. At one point, it is possible to see when one of the police officers kicked the woman.

According to her family, two brothers were leaving home when they were searched by the military. They said that the police acted in a brutal manner and that the mother stepped in to defend her children, but ended up being attacked.

The Military Police say that the military stopped because the teenager was preparing to use drugs, but when they approached a motorcyclist, with a tampered motorcycle, started making threats to the police.

The teenager was charged with use and possession of narcotics, threat and resistance. Four other people were taken to the police station for tampering with a motorcycle, resisting and threatening.

Still according to the corporation, the owner of the motorcycle and the minor already had convictions for illegal possession of a firearm and robbery. The police say the teenager is also suspected of robbery. The young man’s mother was also detained.
