This Friday (29th) is the Holy Week long holiday. In Sergipe, some services will have their opening hours changed. Public bodies, except those considered essential to the population, will not function.

Check what opens and what closes:

The central Antônio Franco, Thales Ferraz and Virgínia Franco markets, as well as the sectoral (neighborhood) markets, are open on Friday, from 6am to 2pm. Saturday and Sunday they open at normal hours.

Open-air markets, which normally take place on Fridays, were brought forward. On Saturday and Sunday they occur without change.

According to the Chamber of Retail Managers, the Aracaju Shopping Center stores will not open on Friday, but will operate normally on Saturday.

Bank branches will not open this Friday, resuming service to the public on Monday (1st).

  • Jardins and RioMar (capital): on Friday (29), food and leisure operations will operate from 12pm to 9pm and other stores will be closed. On Saturday and Sunday, establishments operate normally;
  • Aracaju Park (capital): the food sector is open from 12pm to 10pm; stores and kiosks do not open on Fridays. The cinema operates according to the network’s schedule. On Saturday and Sunday opening hours will be normal.
  • Peixoto (Itabaiana): the food court is open from 12pm to 10pm; anchor stores, supermarkets and services will be closed. Cinema according to schedule.
  • Award (Our Lady of Help): on Friday the shopping center will be closed, including the Food Court. The cinema will be open from 1:30 pm to 9:00 pm, the supermarket and anchor store will be open at their own times. On Saturday and Sunday, operations will be normal.
  • O Governor Augusto Franco Park (Sementeira)in Jardins, will open from 5am to 9:30pm.
  • O Poxim Ecological Parkin Inácio Barbosa, will operate normally, from 6am to 6pm.
  • O Chica Chaves Craft Centerin Bairro Industrial, will be closed to the public on the holiday and reopens on Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
  • Boarding and disembarking services at Orla Por do Solat the Mosqueiro, will take place normally, from 8am to 5pm.
  • The Sergipe Hemotherapy Center (Hemose) will not operate during the holiday. The service will resume on Saturday (30), from 7am to 11am.
  • The vaccination service at the RioMar, Aracaju Parque and Jardins shopping malls, which is only operating on Saturdays, will not operate on the 30th, returning on Saturday (6)
