Deadline for regularizing the Social Security Census ends next week; beneficiaries from Leste de Minas are among those who did not regularize | Valleys of Minas Gerais

Next week is the deadline for pensioners, retirees or those on preliminary leave from the Executive Branch to carry out the Social Security Census from the Minas Gerais State Employees’ Pension Institute (Ipsemg). Almost 15 thousand beneficiaries had payments suspended at the beginning of March.

The Ipsemg Pension Board informed this Wednesday (27) that the census is still pending. around 1,600 pensioners, 3,200 retirees and more than 10,000 active permanent employees.

In total, 1,059 retirees and pensioners from the three municipalities in the region have their payments suspended.

The deadline is April 6th. The database update procedure is mandatory and, to reestablish the benefit, this public can access the Ipsemg website.

With the suspension of payment, the The health care service for those with Ipsemg is also suspended until the situation is regularized.

The list with the names of beneficiaries with irregular status was published on February 20, in the Official State Gazette.

According to Ipsemg, around 11 thousand active servers also remain in an irregular situation. These are subject to administrative penalties if they do not regularize the situation.

The Social Security Census is a procedure for updating the registration, functional and financial database of the Social Security Regime-RPPS, which is mandatory for all active insured people, retirees and pensioners.

The 1st Social Security Registration Census of the Minas Gerais Social Security Regime (RPPS) was carried out between the months of June and December 2023.
