Those interested in working at the Chinese automaker Build Your Dreams (BYD) in Camaçari, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador, will have an opportunity to prepare for the selection process. This is because the government of Bahia will offer professional qualifications to prepare the workforce.

In the first stage, 500 places will be distributed among four courses, all free. The training will be for:

  • vehicle production operator;
  • production line assistant;
  • industrial machinery maintenance mechanic;
  • quality inspector.

Unemployed workers, registered with agencies of the National Employment System (Sine) and beneficiaries of other public work and income policies, who are seeking entry into the job market, can register.

The courses will be taught by Senai de Camaçari, and the workload is 200 to 260 hours.

This qualification aims to prepare candidates to participate in the selection of the Chinese automaker, but does not guarantee hiring. This step is linked to specific BYD criteria.

In addition to free qualification, those selected will receive uniforms (two units per student), teaching materials, transportation and snacks.

Interested parties must register exclusively through the link https://forms.office.com/r/xw3d7E5xMj, also available on Setre’s main digital channels (www.trabalho.ba.gov.br and @setrebahia) and SineBahia (@ sinebahiaoficial).
