In a game that took place to reinforce the commitment against violence and racism in football, Brazil and Spain drew, this Tuesday (26/3), 3 x 3. Without VAR, the game ended up being marked by two controversial penalties for the European team.

Spain was dominant throughout the first half, opened the scoring with a questionable penalty, and made it 2 x 0. Brazil scored a great goal, with Rodrygo, at the end of the first half after a mistake by Unai Simón.

Dorival Júnior’s team tied at the beginning of the 2nd half, with Endrick’s star. A beautiful goal from outside the area.

However, at the end of the match, Spain equalized with Rodri, with a new controversial penalty.

But, in the end, with a clear penalty from Carvajal on Galeno, who grabbed the attacker’s right leg, Lucas Paquetá equalized at 3 x 3.

1st half

In the first 10 minutes, Brazil had difficulty leaving the defense field. Spain started the match with a high block marking, in the Seleção’s field, and with a lot of pressure so that Dorival’s team did not play too many passes.

At 10 minutes, Yamal made an individual play on the right, and ended up suffering a penalty from João Gomes. The move was very controversial, but, without VAR, the field decision was maintained.

Rodri converted the penalty, opening the scoring for Spain. The midfielder hit the middle of Bento’s goal, dislodging the Athletico-PR goalkeeper.

Spain opened the score 2 x 0 with a painting by Dani Olmo. Spain’s number 10 received the ball inside the area and, in a very short space of time, gave Beraldo a beautiful pen, cut through Bruno Guimarães and shot from the left into Bento’s right corner.

Brazil pulled one back with a great goal from Rodrygo, 38 minutes into the first half. Unai Simón tried to play with his feet, Amarelinha’s number 10 intercepted the pass and sent it for coverage.

2nd half

Dorival made four changes right at halftime. They entered: André; Yan Couto; Andreas Pereira and Endrick. Left: João Gomes; Danilo; Bruno Guimarães and Raphinha.

Endrick: the enlightened one. Four minutes into the second half, Andreas Pereira took a corner in the area, Laporte countered, and the number 21, from the edge of the area, finished into Unai Simón’s right corner. The young man’s first at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid’s stadium, the club he will transfer to in July.

In the 39th minute of the 2nd half, another controversial penalty for Spain. Yamal found Carvajal, Beraldo shared with the Real Madrid full-back and the referee awarded the penalty.

Rodri, again, took note, now taking Bento out of the photo. The number 16 hit the right corner of the Seleção goalkeeper, who jumped to the left side.

In the last play, Galeno suffered a penalty from Carvajal, who grabbed the Brazilian striker’s right leg. Paquetá went to the penalty spot and displaced Unai Simón.
