The Holy Week weekend is approaching and, therefore, Operation Prohibition actions will be reinforced in the capital of Alagoas and in the interior of the state from this Wednesday (27th) until Easter Sunday, March 31st. Operation Semana Santa will take place together with teams from the Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran) and the Highway Police Battalion (BPRv) of the Alagoas Military Police.
According to Lieutenant Medeiros, Detran Inspection supervisor, during the holiday a nationwide Prohibition operation will be carried out.
“Every month, we are participating in an action where Prohibition carries out blitzes, simultaneously, in Brazilian states. Once again, we will be on the streets and highways of Alagoas to ensure the safety of everyone in traffic during the weekend”, stated the Inspection supervisor.
In Operation Semana Santa carried out in 2023, Lei Seca, in Alagoas, approached 295 vehicles and carried out 313 alcohol tests.
