Registration for the 8th Venancio Race for Health is now open. The Copacabana waterfront, in the south zone of Rio, was the place chosen for the test, which will be held on July 16th with routes of 3km, 5km and 10km. The start will be at Posto 2, on Copacabana Beach, at 8am. Five thousand athletes are expected.
Registration must be made on the official race website (https://corridavenanciopelasaude.com.br/) and costs R$110.00 (full) and R$55.00 (half, valid for people over 60 years of age until the registration day, and people with special needs).
The kit includes an official t-shirt, squeeze bottle, identification number, timing chip (5km and 10km routes), in addition to an ecobag filled with various gifts and various products from partners. The kits will be delivered on July 14 and 15, from 9am to 8pm, at the Venancio store located on Av. Our Lady of Copacabana, nº 791.
“We are extremely proud to provide an event that promotes exercise and encourages health care. And it was thinking of embracing the public of all ages that we included the 3km walk so that more people could participate. This year is even more special because we have the edge of the south zone, the city’s postcard, as the setting for our race”, says Armando Ahmed, president and founder of Drogaria Venancio.
