Papo Empreendedor delved into the world of health and wellness, exploring the inspiring journeys of two women who shaped the field with their dedication and leadership.

The guests bring with them a wealth of experience and passion for health. Ana Suzerli Gava Savio, known as Nina, is a multifaceted professional: a nurse, Ana followed a career that took her from pharmacy manager to businesswoman in the automotive maintenance sector. She currently presides over the Fundação Hospitalar Santa Otília, where she demonstrates an unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of her community.

Cristiani Vavassori, known as Cris, is a prominent figure at the Santa Otília Hospital Foundation. A nurse by training, hospital manager and professor at Unibave, Cristiani shares her knowledge and experience not only with her colleagues, but also with future health professionals. Her dedication to her profession and education is a source of inspiration to everyone around her.

We talked to Nina about her routine as president of Fundação Hospitalar Santa Otília. She shared the challenge of balancing her responsibilities with her personal life, highlighting the importance of volunteering and personal commitment to her community. Nina shares a lesson learned: “It’s a constant challenge, but my commitment to the community motivates me to overcome it daily.”

Cristiani also revealed to us the challenges and rewards of being a mother of three daughters while maintaining her role as a hospital manager and teacher. Her resilience and determination are true sources of inspiration. Cristiani shares her mantra: “Organization and mutual support are key to balancing my career and my family. Every challenge makes me stronger.” She confesses: “There were times when I doubted my ability to handle everything, but I found strength in my determination.”

Both highlighted the obstacles they faced as women in leadership positions in healthcare. “Unfortunately, prejudice is still a reality for many women in our area,” said Nina. “But by facing these challenges head on, we have shown that we are capable of leading and making a difference.”

In the hospital context, the struggle to obtain financial resources is a constant battle. Cristiani shares a raw perspective: “Seeking funding is an ongoing challenge. We constantly need to find ways to secure the resources necessary to maintain our operations.”

Furthermore, the conversation highlights the importance of mental health care, both for the institution’s leaders and employees. While Cris shares her approach to finding comfort in family and the tranquility of her home, Nina reveals her journey of facing depression in 2015 and the importance of psychiatric treatment in her life.

These women not only exemplify dedication and commitment to the community, but they also show how it is possible to find strength in family to face challenges. Their stories are an inspiring testament to the power of resilience, which is why they are one of the “Most Influential Women in Orleans.”
