For 12 years in Vera Cruz, Academia Movimento e Saúde has worked with the aim of providing a welcoming place for those who wish to take care of their health. Located in the central region of the city, the space is managed by partners Thiago Rafael Bervig and Leonardo Negri Mueller and has equipment and a large structure for practicing physical activities.

The business opened on October 1, 2011, with just 40 square meters and no students. Today it has a structure of 230 square meters, serving approximately 500 students with a team of ten professionals.
One of the owners, Thiago, said that the gym was born from the desire to undertake and the passion for the profession of physical education. According to him, it is a huge challenge to attract and maintain such a large student base. “I say it’s the love for what we do. It’s a lot of work and mentality to have to think about actions to keep 500 students. This is the big challenge. It is necessary to be better and deliver more than yesterday,” he said.

For the future, the businessman stated that he is open to new ideas, and also revealed the possibility of expanding the facilities in the Capital das Gincanas. “The demand for movement has increased a lot and it is necessary to always be looking outside the box, how the parts are moving, to always be bringing new things to the business”he highlighted.
