Event takes place from April 8th to 11th with online and in-person programming and sponsorship by Gympass

Brazil is the most sedentary country in Latin America and the fifth in the world ranking, according to information from the Ministry of Health. The Physical Activity Guide for the Brazilian Population defines sedentary behavior as activities performed when the individual is awake, sitting, reclining or lying down and using little energy, such as: watching television, using your cell phone or traveling by car or public transport.

To change this scenario, the AFPESP Sports Coordination, in partnership with Gympass, will promote 2nd edition of Physical Activity and Well-being Week for associates and collaborators. The free event will take place between April 8th and 11th and will feature different online and in-person actions: bike juice, virtual physical activity, online yoga class, bioimpedance assessment, quick massage, in addition to the launch of the Passo Challenge by Step.
