The city of Guaraniaçu, in Paraná, is in mourning after the early death of Professor Jessica Leticia Morais, suspected of having been a victim of dengue hemorrhagic fever. Her death occurred on the night of Saturday, March 23, at the Cascavel University Hospital, where the professor was transferred due to the worsening of her health condition.

The news of the loss was received with great sadness by the community of Guaraniaçu, where teacher Jessica, born in Catanduvas, chose to establish her second home and start a family. In addition to her biological daughter, the teacher leaves a legacy of thousands of “heart children” – students she taught and won over throughout her career.

The Municipality of Guaraniaçu, represented by Mayor Osmario Portela and Vice-Mayor José Gracioso, expressed solidarity and affection to the teacher’s family, friends and students.
