Although the series Baby Reindeer do not reveal the true identity of the stalker Martha, the woman who inspired the character decided to reveal her name and face on her own — in addition to speaking publicly about the series.

This Thursday, it aired Fiona Harvey’s interview for the Piers Morgan. On the talk show, the alleged real-life stalker told “her version of the story” to the presenter.

In the interview, available on YouTube, Harvey denied being a stalker and stated that she was not the author of the more than 40,000 emails sent to Richard Gadd. “I think he probably invented them himself, I have no idea.” She, however, stated that she actually sent some emails, some messages on X (formerly Twitter) and a letter.

Furthermore, she says that the two met in a slightly different way than what was shown in the series. According to her, Gadd did not offer her a cup of tea after she entered the pub. “This is not right. I actually went for dinner and a sip of lemonade. I was very, very hungry,” she corrected her.

In Harvey’s version, Gadd brought up the subject first. “He interrupted a conversation [minha] and said, ‘Oh, you’re Scottish’ and basically commanded the conversation. He seemed to be obsessed with me from that moment on,” she said.

Real-life Stalker was “challenged” by Piers Morgan

According to the Daily Record, Fiona was not happy with the tone of the conversation thanks to questions about his true intentions in relation to Richard Gadd, creator and main actor of the series.

She described her interactions with Morgan as a “real fight” in which she tried to prove her point.

“There was a lot of emphasis on the emails I supposedly sent. I have my own ideas about this, which I would like to keep to myself, but I’m not happy. He [Morgan] was too quick to try to trip me [nas respostas]. He did it quickly to catch me off guard,” she said.

“People need to know what’s going on. I’ve never been to prison. I don’t know where those four years and nine months of sentence came from. None of that happened. It’s a bunch of nonsense. Gadd needs to prove that I was arrested. This is all fabrication and hyperbole.”

It is worth noting that Fiona is just one of the women who claims to have served as inspiration for Martha in Baby Rena. At the end of April, a person who preferred to remain anonymous told the Daily Mail that the comedian was the real stalker and that the Netflix series was just the most recent attempt to disrupt his life.

Until now, Gadd did not comment on the women’s statements. who have publicly identified themselves as the inspirations for Martha. In interviews, he states that he wants to preserve his stalker’s real identity and that he considers the problems he had with her to be completely resolved.
