Two decades after the release of the first film, “The Author of Compadecida 2” won the first teaser, this Thursday (2). In the images released by H2O Films, João Grilo (Matheus Nachtergaele) and Chicó (Selton Mello) appear in a new adventure that promises to brighten the national cinema screens.

The film is directed by Guel Arraes and Flávia Lacerda. In addition to Selton Mello and Matheus Nachtergaele, the cast includes actors such as Virginia Cavendish (Rosinha) and Enrique Diaz (cangaceiro Joaquim Brejeiro).
Humberto Martins (Coronel Ernani), Fabiula Nascimento (Clarabela), Luis Miranda (Antônio do Amor), Juliano Cazarré (Omar) and Luellem de Castro (Iracema) also participate. Actress Taís Araújo will give life to a new version of Compadecida, played in the first film by Fernanda Montenegro.
