Location of the game is confirmed, but it will have its differences
The series of Fallout released in Prime Video It was acclaimed by the public and has already been renewed for a second season. In the final moments of production, we can see a glimpse of New Vegas, an iconic location for the franchise and much loved by game fans. In an interview with GQ, the series’ producers Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet confirmed that the location will be important next season, but that it will be different from what is seen in the games.
During the interview, the producers commented that they do not intend follow any of the Fallout New Vegas endings:
“What we really wanted the audience to know is that things happened and not have any expectations that we are going to start season two following some of the endings that depend on the choices of the players in New Vegas. With the post-credits scene we wanted to imply that the world has progressed and the idea that the Wastes remain the same as the decades go by is absurd to us. It is a place of constant tragedy and horrors. We’re implying that more happened.”
The series will not continue any of the New Vegas endings
Fallout New Vegas, like other games in the franchise, has a wide variety of endings, which are defined by the player’s actions, mainly which group in the city he decides to support. The game takes place in the year 2281while the beginning of the journey of Lucy in the series is in 2296it is possible that during the second season it will be shown what happened to the city during that period of time and perhaps even some important characters from the game will be present.
Until now the second season of Fallout doesn’t have one release forecast.
