Singer and digital influencer Lily Nobre, 20, used social media to speak out about the sexual violence she was a victim of earlier this month. She filed a complaint for rape of a vulnerable person at the 42nd Police Station in Rio de Janeiro, on the 7th.
Vent. “I think most people already know what happened to me. It was a horrible situation. I’m better, I’m getting better”, informed the daughter of singer Dudu Nobre and dancer Adriana Bombom, in her Instagram stories.
Post-traumatic follow-up. “I’ve already started my psychological treatment. It’s very important to have someone accompanying us and helping us to vent more and more. I don’t want my life to stop because of this situation. I’ll try to come back little by little.”
Taking distance. “I took time off because I thought it was necessary to stay away from Instagram and social media a little bit. I didn’t want to fall into mental traps and do stupid things. I wanted to spend a little time with my family and with the people who are giving me all their support and possible support in my daily life.”
Fan support. “But I’m stopping by to thank everyone who sent me messages of affection and concern. I felt very welcome.”
Collective aggression. Lily Nobre would have been raped by more than one person while at a party with friends. She had just celebrated her mother’s birthday and decided to accompany acquaintances to another celebration, in a house in the community of Beira Rio, west of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, where the violence took place.
